This is my favorite of the three layouts I chose because it looks clean and polished. It is aesthetically pleasing and can fit my theme very well. I will most likely use this layout. I like this layout because it is sum what abstract but not overwhelming to the eye. It can have easily be altered to fit my theme and isn't too simple. I chose this layout because it is simple but elegent at the same time. I don't like when theirs too much going on because then it can be overwhelming to the reader. Article Topic Ideas:

Both mine and the sample's responses were sectioned by the four main topics (camerawork, mise-en-scene, sound, and editing). Both responses talked about to use a medium shots during the characters conversation. We also talked about the dark mood that the clip have and the elements that made it dark. Contrast: The sample uses bullets points and focuses on more specific details whereas I focused mainly on the main idea like mine. I also emphasized the fact that there was little adding in the clip and the sample did not agree. The sample had a lot to say about the editing such as the fade into another setting and the slow pace, but I only talked about the increase in volume and the fake hit. title/masthead: The masthead suggests that the magazine is going to be about local places to travel to. The title gives the idea that to list many local attractions that are safe to go to during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Typography: The typography in the magazine is bright and happy looking, this can draw people in to wanting to buy the magazine. The yellow numbers pop out at you and makes you want to read what it is about. Image: The cover is a picture of the Deerfield Beach pier. This is because it goes with the theme of local travel as Deerfield beach is a local beach. The picture has a beautiful sunset that is very vibrant and inviting. Language: The strapline is "50 Ways to enjoy summer while being safe". This suggests that the magazine will help find places to have fun while staying safe during the pandemic. The person reading the cover of the magazine will feel the need to read more because of the persuasive language and the main idea of the magazine that is very relevant In today's world! |
